Professional qualifications for demanding educational tasks

You want to be professionally qualified for educational work with adults at a high level.

Adult educators are professionals in the diverse fields of education. They take on demanding professional and management tasks in educational institutions, in companies, associations and non-profit organizations.

With the part-time training Dipl. Erwachsenenbildner/in HF you lay the foundation for your professional career in the education sector.

• You will develop the competence to accompany adult learners in their educational processes and to lead groups.
• You will expand your knowledge with conceptual and organizational-economic aspects for planning, designing and managing educational projects.
• You will use background knowledge of marketing, evaluation, quality assurance and educational policy in the development of new educational projects.

The training is strongly practice-oriented and promotes your ability to think methodically and in a networked manner. You will further develop your professional understanding of issues in the education and training of adult learners.

The program is federally recognized by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).

Scope of studies

1. 5 subject blocks and final qualification spread over 4 to 6 semesters depending on the desired study intensity
2. 750 classroom hours in plenary sessions, small groups as well as blended learning
3. 2 two-day continuing education congresses
4. Qualification procedure and self-study amounting to approx. one day per week
