The program prepares you for the Swiss Federal Diploma Examination for Experts in Accounting and Controlling.

Controlling:

Controlling system, value-based controlling, ratio analysis, cost accounting break-even analysis, price calculation, revenue and cost controlling, risk management, internal control system ICS, strategic controlling systems, corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, benchmarking, transfer pricing, investment controlling, project management, organization, HR management, marketing controlling, international management and controlling.

Accounting:

Commercial accounting according to OR, accounting according to IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER, consolidated financial statements, higher financial accounting in special cases.

Corporate Finance:

Forms of financing, financing planning, derivatives, investment appraisals, company valuation, mergers & acquisitions

Taxes:

Tax law, restructurings, special cases for partnerships and legal entities, triangular theory, criminal tax law and procedural law, international tax law

VAT:

Finalization, real estate, group taxation, cross-border transactions, private shares, reporting procedures

Data Management:

Databases, Big Data, Excel add-ins, business intelligence, data protection, artificial intelligence and business analytics in accounting, digital transformation

Leadership:

Multi-day workshop, conducted by the examining association

Interdisciplinary case study: 4 hours

Oral exam: 40 minutes

Requirements

  • Admission to the examination is granted to those who hold a certificate of a professional examination and have 5 years of professional experience;
  • or a diploma of a higher professional examination or a higher professional school and has 3 years of professional experience.
  • or has a degree (Bachelor) from a university or a university of applied sciences and has more than 2 years of professional experience.
  • and has no entry in the Central Criminal Register that contradicts the purpose of the examination.
  • and transfers the examination fee in due time according to section 3.41.
