Description

With a view to targeted and effective preparation, and in anticipation of the holding of the exam: "AFA Insurance Broker," a compact course, divided into 3 stages, was created in agreement with the AFA in Bern, represented as follows.

https://www.csvn.ch/pdf/Struttura_AFA_PRO.pdf

1. In the first stage, participants undergo a Check-up of their knowledge. This is a real exam simulation, via an official AFA test (not 0-series), to check prior knowledge in the following 4 macro areas:

  • Insurance Economics,
  • Legal concepts,
  • Personal insurance and Social insurance,
  • Property and Casualty Insurance.

Based on the outcome of the test, a personal evaluation session follows with each participant indicating to them the results of the Check-up, based on which formative suggestions will be formulated by CSVN to fill the gaps revealed, as well as to provide a personalized sudi plan to be used as a guideline during the self-study and e-learning phase.

2. In the second phase, participants will undergo blended learning training, which contemplates:

  • individual study with the help of AFA books
  • the study of e-learning material on the www.vbv.ch platform (WBT, quizzes, readings).
  • The participant is accompanied in individual study with tutoring and cooperative study by CSVN.
  • The self-study and e-learning part is followed by 28 hours of classroom workshops (Flipped Classroom), where candidates will be able to use distance learning tools provided by CSVN and AFA, to further refine their knowledge. The training will be parameterized according to the outcome of the initial test.

3. In the third phase, candidates will take a Written and Oral Check-out through a real-life simulation of a written exam and an oral exam. At the end of this phase, participants will receive feedback on the aspects they may need to work on further to arrive prepared for the exam.

What should the participant do after registering?

Once registered for the course, the participant must necessarily take two essential steps before the course begins:
