Gardeners make the world a little more colorful. They build, maintain and care for public and private green spaces as well as playgrounds and sports fields. As specialists in the use, care and protection of plants of all kinds, you have a broad know-how that also includes economic work planning as well as employee management and the training of apprentices.
Requirements
The following persons are admitted to the federal examination
- Certificate of proficiency as a horticulturist or equivalent qualification
- 24 months of professional experience in the field of landscape horticulture (without apprenticeship)
or
- Other federal certificate of proficiency or equivalent qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of landscape horticulture
and
- The necessary module qualifications and 3 credits from elective module visits can be presented
Further requirements
- Personal commitment and readiness for innovative concepts
- Ability to work under pressure, enjoyment and interest
- Regular attendance of classes
- Completion of homework
