Only those who have successfully passed the certificate examination of the examining body or who have an equivalent certificate such as "Human Resources Specialist edupool.ch" are admitted to the professional examination (federal certificate).

In addition, four years of professional experience after passing the Federal Certificate of Proficiency, of which more than two years must be qualified HR practice in the specialist field.

Admission to the examination is granted to candidates who, at the time of registration (end of April of the examination year), have the following previous education and professional experience:

• a Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ), a high school diploma, a specialized baccalaureate, a high school diploma or equivalent, and
• the certificate of successful completion of the Personnel Assistant Certificate Examination (or the registered certificate of a training institute with equivalence).
• proof of 4 years of professional experience after passing the Federal Certificate of Proficiency or equivalent qualification according to point a., of which at least 2 years are HR experience (according to the job description, point 1.2 of the Examination Regulations).

In case of uncertainty regarding the admission to the examination or the selection of the correct field of specialization, we recommend an early clarification of admission at the HRSE examination office. (HRSE will charge you CHF 70.- for such a preliminary clarification).
