The complex world of healthcare interests you and you would like to expand your knowledge. The training course will provide you with sound basic knowledge in the areas of legal principles, players/responsibilities, insurance, tariffs as well as communication. You will know how the healthcare system is financed and will be able to incorporate legal framework conditions into your work. You will perform administrative tasks related to case management and provide information to patients as well as to internal and external partners. This course also serves as ideal preparation for further training as a hospital specialist with a federal certificate.

Training content

The knowledge acquired forms a solid foundation in the field of healthcare and promotes the following competencies in particular:

• Knowledge of the relevant legal foundations in the healthcare system (hierarchy logic, structure, interaction).
• Knowledge of the players, roles and their tasks and competencies in the healthcare sector
• Services, tariffs (service provider), payer (patient), insured customer, etc.
• Basic knowledge of the four most important social insurances in the health care system (UV, KV, IV, MV)
• Apply conversation techniques and correspondence rules competently and efficiently
