Content
The Bachelor of Science degree program (BSc) in Business Administration provides you with in-depth knowledge and skills in the subjects of management, business information systems, economics, mathematics, statistics and law. Communication and foreign languages are also of great importance.
Full-time or part-time study
The study program can be completed in the full-time model during six semesters or in the part-time model during eight semesters. The part-time study model is aimed at people who have regular professional, sports or care obligations.
Study structure
Uniform assessment level
During your studies, you will first complete the assessment stage, followed by the main study stage. At the assessment level, you will develop the fundamentals of your management education. At the same time, you will learn about your professional strengths.
Individual main studies
In the main study period, you select various modules from a range of compulsory electives. In this way, you can optimally tailor your studies to your own wishes and inclinations. Practical projects and the final Bachelor thesis complete your education.
Diverse fields of study
The fields of study take place in the last year of your studies (20 ECTS credits, 10 ECTS credits per semester) and are listed in the diploma. This allows you to put together an individual study portfolio based on your interests and career aspirations.
Career prospects
The majority of graduates work in the service sector. Specifically, these are banks and financial services companies as well as consulting firms. Fiduciary services, public administration, education, health and social services, insurance, trade, transport and forwarding also offer attractive fields of work for graduates of universities of applied sciences. In Switzerland in particular, industrial companies are also very interested in our graduates.
