In the engineering degree program Electrical and Computer Engineering, previously Electrical Engineering, you learn how to deal with matter, energy and information. Students develop devices and algorithms, always in the area of conflict between analog and digital, hardware and software, at the limits of what is mathematically and scientifically possible.
In the Electrical and Computer Engineering program, you design your schedule flexibly with freely selectable modules. Full-time study you usually graduate after 6 semesters. With part-time studies, you can adapt your workload to your individual needs.
In the third year of study, you have the opportunity to specialize inat least 3 of 11 areas of study :
Analog/Digital Microelectronics
Applied Electromagnetism: Fields and Waves
Artificial Intelligence
Digital Signal Processing
Embedded Software Engineering
Embedded Systems
Power Systems and Power Electronics
Image Processing and Computer Vision
Control Engineering
Sensor Technology
Wireless Communications
Prerequisite for admission to the study program is one of the following degrees
in each case in combination with a study-related vocational apprenticeship or a study-related one-year work experience (e.g. internship).
