The printing and packaging technology operations specialist EFA manages departments, plans and controls productions and also acts as an interface in work preparation and work follow-up. With the knowledge acquired in production planning and control, employment as a clerk or field sales representative is also a possibility. This course is run in cooperation with the Zurich School of Design.
The printing and packaging technology specialist EFA has the competence to organize work in the printing and packaging industry according to qualitative and economic criteria. Basic business management principles are demonstrated and applied. The goals and tasks of a company are translated into production and planning specifications in a timely and process-oriented manner. Printing and packaging technology specialists are familiar with industry standards and recognize deviations between the actual and target status in order to ensure the required quality. They also support their department heads, assume management functions and provide the basis for decision-making. They implement legal standards and company environmental protection measures and generally promote awareness of environmental and health issues.
