THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR MEDIA AND DESIGN

The Aargau School of Design in Aarau is one of the canton's most traditional vocational schools and traces its roots in basic vocational training back to the Aargauische Buchdruckerfachschule (Aargau School of Book Printing), founded in 1921. The school accompanied the technical change in the professional practice of the graphic arts industry from handicraft letterpress printing to today's printing and packaging technology and digital media production.
