Marketing Managers HF are generalists in marketing with broad, networked, practical technical and leadership skills. They assume responsibility and leadership tasks in marketing departments of SMEs or large companies in operational marketing, in business processes or in support processes. Marketing Managers HF approach challenging practical situations from a business process perspective and communicate - also in a foreign language - with the relevant internal and external stakeholders. They manage projects and employees, coordinate, support and motivate those involved in the processes to achieve corporate and marketing goals.
Admission to the course is open to students who have
- a Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency in Business Administration (Kaufmann/Kauffrau) or
- a federal certificate of proficiency in retail trade, or
- a diploma from a federally recognized commercial school
- and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in marketing-related fields.
The following are also admitted to the course
- a federal certificate of proficiency in another profession with at least three years of basic training
has
- and 3 years of relevant professional experience in marketing-related fields of work,
- and demonstrates the necessary basic commercial knowledge as part of the admission procedure
(e.g. proof of additional commercial qualifications or admission exam).
