Your rewarding entry into the real estate industry: In this course you will acquire in-depth basic knowledge of real estate management and thus create a solid foundation for your professional future and career in the real estate business.
The real estate industry is booming. Despite Corona, real estate prices continued to rise in 2020, and the expected decline in demand due to Corona failed to materialize. Home ownership is and remains in demand - demand continues to exceed supply. In addition, people prefer to invest in crisis-proof tangible assets such as residential property. In times of home offices, living in one's own apartment or house is becoming more important and many people want to own their own property.
Thus, real estate management is a very important part of the Swiss economy. According to the Federal Office of Housing BWO, real estate management in Switzerland generates over 560,000 full-time jobs, which is about 14% of all employees (as of 2020). In order to gain a foothold in the real estate industry, it is worthwhile to complete a well-founded, nationally recognized continuing education program to become a real estate management specialist. You will lay the foundation for a successful career in this economically important industry.
In this continuing education program, you will acquire professional skills in the areas of construction, real estate accounting, real estate management and law. With the knowledge you have acquired, you will provide administrative and organizational support for property managers and be the contact person for tenants, property managers, tradesmen and authorities.
