Financial planners with a federal certificate of proficiency advise private clients on financial matters, taking into account their respective life situations, such as upcoming retirement, career and family status. Financial planners must be able to link complex financial expertise with the specific needs of their clients.
The zB. Zentrum Bildung Baden offers the advanced training for financial planners with federal certificate in cooperation with Mendo AG. You will learn from experienced lecturers who are themselves in the middle of their jobs and benefit from the know-how of two renowned educational institutes for financial courses.
The goals
In this continuing education course, you will acquire the know-how of a 360° view for individual, holistic financial solutions.
You will learn how to tailor financial solutions to the needs and life situations of customers, how to develop them and how to present them successfully. We will show you the methodology you can use to provide private Swiss clients with optimal and efficient advice and support in financial matters.
You will have the competence for independent and sustainable financial planning and financial consulting for private persons (dependent and self-employed persons with connection to the second pillar) over their entire life cycle until retirement.
For whom.
The students of this course are usually employees of a financial institution such as banks, insurance companies or financial intermediaries or independent financial advisors from asset management, pension consulting, insurance brokerage, etc.

Art. 8 (Regulations IAF) - to be admitted to the professional examination a person must:
a) holds a certificate of proficiency of at least three years' basic training or an equivalent qualification and can prove at least one year's professional experience in the financial services sector
or
b) has at least five years of professional experience, including at least one year in the financial services sector.
The cut-off date for proof of professional experience is the start of the examination. The basic training up to the attainment of a certificate of proficiency or the like shall not be counted towards the professional experience.
