The further education for social insurance specialists with federal certificate is a training for specialists of all branches of social insurance.
You will gain a detailed insight into the Swiss social system and the system of its insurances at the zB. center of education.
After graduation, you will work in various areas of social insurance or in public administrations, in social welfare, in personnel management, in the salary system, in the fiduciary sector or even in consulting offices.
The goals
Social insurance specialists inform insured persons and/or employers about the responsibilities and benefits of their social insurance.
They clarify questions depending on the case in cooperation with other offices. They analyze the situation and determine contributions or benefits according to the legal basis. Social insurance specialists communicate social insurance decisions in a legally and formally correct manner and adhere to the procedural processes in all cases.

The further education of social insurance specialists at zB. is designed for all those who are interested in social security in Switzerland and in general in non-profit topics and who would like to raise their already existing knowledge about it to expert level.
Our students mostly work in the social security sector of public administrations and the private sector.
Requirements
Admission to the examination is granted to those who, at the time of the examination:
- a federal certificate of proficiency of at least 3 years of basic vocational training
- or a Matura certificate
- or a federal vocational certificate of at least 2 years of basic vocational training
- and, after completing their basic training, can demonstrate at least 3 years or at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of social insurance before the start of the examination (in each case in accordance with Examination Regulations 3.3)
- and has paid the examination fee in due time.
