With this data, customer needs can be better understood and new product benefits and ultimately new business models can be created. The CAS Digital Product Management brings you up to date with the latest methods and technologies of product management in the age of digitalization.

The CAS Digital Product Management can be taken individually or as part of the MAS Product Management.

Target audience

The CAS is aimed at product managers and marketeers who work in industry and financial companies and want to deal with smart connected products, digital twins, IoT and their impact on product management. The target audience does not need to have a technical background, but an affinity for data and data analysis. The CAS is also aimed at analysts and requirements managers with a technical background so that they can better understand their target audience (product managers) and know their requirements.

Goals

After successful completion of the course, participants will have the following competencies

  • Ability to design smart products and services and understanding of how to create the Digital Twin.
  • Understanding of how products and services can be adapted to the needs of customers on the basis of product-related data from all phases of life, thus creating new value propositions.
  • Understanding of what technologies and challenges will shape product management today and in the future.
  • Ability to develop and implement new revenue and business models in the age of IoT and Industry 4.0.

Requirements

  • Graduates of universities of applied sciences or universities with at least three years of professional experience in marketing or related fields are admitted.
  • Professionals without a university degree can be admitted provided they have at least six years of the above-mentioned professional experience and corresponding further education certificates (higher technical college or higher technical examination with federal certificate/diploma).
  • The final admission decision is made by the study management after an admission interview.
