University degrees (Tertiary A - Higher Education Institutions) are considered to be:
Interested parties who do not hold a university degree may be admitted "sur dossier" if the qualification for participation results from a "tertiary B" certificate from higher vocational education. The number of "sur dossier" study places is limited by a ZHAW-wide university regulation.

The following qualifications (by way of example, not exhaustive) are neither part of the higher vocational education nor of the higher education institutions and do not allow admission to the MAS FC or to a CAS, not even "sur dossier":
The head of studies makes the final decision on the definitive admission to the MAS FC or to a CAS according to the rules and regulations of the university.
Admission to a CAS offering that is part of an MAS program does not simultaneously include admission to the corresponding MAS. Admission may be regulated differently for CAS and for MAS.
