The bachelor's degree program
- prepares you to carry out nutritional therapy consultations and actions independently and in collaboration with other health professionals.
- enables you to take on a variety of responsible tasks in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
- provides you with sound (nutritional) scientific knowledge and enables you to apply it in skills training and practical assignments.
- teaches you client-centered conversation and counseling techniques so that you can prepare complex specialized information in a linguistically and didactically comprehensible manner and convey it in a target group-oriented manner.
- enables you to competently engage in topics related to nutrition science in the interdisciplinary context of health care.
- enables you to subsequently specialize professionally with targeted further education or to complete a consecutive master's degree program.
Requirements
You are admitted to the program if you meet the school requirements, have successfully completed the aptitude test, and can provide evidence of the two-month nursing internship in a health care or social service institution before beginning your studies.
School requirements
You possess one of the following Swiss educational qualifications:
- Professional baccalaureate
- Professional baccalaureate (four-year)
- Gymnasium baccalaureate
- Specific qualification in a health profession at the level of higher technical college and higher technical examination according to list

If you have not completed your education in German (for at least three years), you must prove sufficient knowledge of the German language. We require German level C1 according to the profile of the European Framework of Reference.
Foreign educational qualifications are assessed according to the swissuniversities guidelines.
