Description

The Bern University of Applied Sciences, BFH for short, is an application-oriented university founded in 1997. Currently, BFH is spread over several locations in the cities of Bern, Biel, Burgdorf, Magglingen and Zollikofen. The departments of the Bern University of Applied Sciences include: Architecture, Wood and Construction with affiliated Higher Technical School Wood, School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences, Bern University of the Arts, Engineering and Computer Science, Economics, Health, Social Work, Swiss Federal Institute of Sports Magglingen EHSM.

In addition to bachelor's and master's degree programs, BFH offers continuing education, applied research and development, and services. The degree programs in Sport, Agronomy, Forest Sciences, Wood Technology, Automotive Engineering, Nutrition and Dietetics as well as Literary Writing and Medical Informatics are unique in German-speaking Switzerland or even nationwide.
