The CAS Tourism 4.0 is a modular continuing education program whose core modules deal with digitalization in tourism. Particular emphasis is placed on the digital transformation and networking of the industry, as well as on the digital opportunities in marketing & sales for service providers and tourism organizations.
Due to the modular study structure, individual specialist modules can also be attended independently of the acquisition of the certificate. The continuing education course CAS Tourism 4.0 consists of four specialized modules and a certificate thesis in the form of a practical case study.
Participation in the Digital Transformation and Digital Marketing & Sales modules is mandatory to obtain the certificate. The two other specialist modules can be freely selected from the following four elective modules:
Target group
The CAS Tourism 4.0 is aimed at professionals who are already active in tourism and want to expand their knowledge. Through the elective module Tourism Basics, the CAS is also suitable for people who are planning to (re-)enter the tourism industry.
