HES-SO Valais-Wallis - School of Management

The School of Business in Sierre offers three degree programs: Bachelor in Tourism, Bachelor in Bachelor in Business Economics and Bachelor in Business Information Systems.

The strongly practice-oriented education in business economics can be completed at our School of Business on a full-time or part-time basis and encourages interaction with lecturers who work closely with industry and/or research institutes. All fundamental aspects of business economics and management (financial management, taxes and law, management and human resources, marketing, economics, instrumental subjects, languages and communication) are highlighted.

The education in the Bachelor in Tourism program finds the ideal environment in Valais and can be completed in three languages (German, French and English) at our School of Economics, which is unique for Switzerland. Students acquire knowledge in the fields of marketing, event organization, online sales, tourism product development, etc., among others.

The interdisciplinary study of the Bachelor in Business Information Systems provides knowledge of business information systems, including information technologies and business management.

The School of Business works closely with the three institutes of Tourism, Entrepreneurship & Management, and Computer Science, as all lecturers are also involved in research.
