Business school Thun

Two locations

The business school has two locations, in Thun and Gstaad. In Thun, a second school building was built in 2017, which is located directly next to the main building and has a state-of-the-art infrastructure. Our catchment area includes the Thun region, the entire Bernese Oberland and the Upper Valais.

Around 180 full and part-time employees work at WST, including two commercial apprentices.

Educational offer

The WST is one of the largest training providers in the Bernese Oberland, with over 3000 apprentices and further education participants per year. In the vocational school, around 1100 apprentices are trained in 60 classes each year. In the area of continuing education, over 1000 participants attend our courses and seminars each semester.

Continuing education

The Business School Thun offers more than 20 courses and over 50 courses and seminars, including customized company courses. The offer includes training courses in the areas of leadership and management, vocational training, retail trade, marketing and sales, human resources/insurance, accounting/fiduciary/taxes, commercial training and language courses. The WST offers several clerk training courses as well as various training courses at the specialist certificate level.
