NDK Uro therapist/Uro therapist nursing

This practice-oriented continuing education course focuses on the professional care and counseling of patients with kidney, bladder and sexual dysfunctions. In the postgraduate course (NDK), you will acquire current and in-depth knowledge as a qualified nurse in order to recognize and understand complex urological clinical pictures. You will learn to analyze patient situations systematically and to act in a goal-oriented nursing manner. You will deal intensively with the needs of your patients, reflect on your tact and empathy, train respectful interaction and professional conversation behavior. You will learn and deepen your professional competencies in patient counseling and training, and know how to enable those affected and their relatives to maintain as high a quality of life as possible despite their illness and changed life situation.

Target group

The modular course (NDK) is aimed at certified nurses from acute hospitals, rehabilitation and long-term institutions, Spitex organizations and other health care institutions who want to deepen their nursing skills in the selected area with a professional focus.
