Building on a ready basic knowledge of all computer science disciplines, you will choose one of the three current specializations, which will set you on a targeted path for your future career:

At FFHS you also have the opportunity to acquire a wide range of internationally recognized professional certificates, such as SAP or ITIL, as part of your IT studies.

Requirements
Individuals who meet one of the following requirements are admitted to the Bachelor's program:
- Vocational Matura
- gymnasiale Matura with one year of professional practice* or direct entry into the practice-integrated Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science (PiBS) without professional practice
- Diploma from a higher technical college (HF)*: Passerelle into the 3rd or 5th semester
Prospective students with a tertiary level degree* (Swiss Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Swiss Federal Diploma) or persons over 25 years of age with several years of qualified professional experience can also be admitted directly to the program by means of an entrance examination.
In order to prepare specifically for the entrance examination, we recommend the preparatory course for the entrance examination.
* in the same or related field of study (after clarification).
The following entrance competencies at the level of the vocational baccalaureate are required:
- English: level B1
- Mathematics: level of a commercial, industrial, technical or scientific vocational baccalaureate Refresher Mathematics
- German: Prospective students who are not native speakers of German are required to have a proficiency level in German.
For those interested without prior knowledge of programming, we offer a preparatory course in programming (optional online course).
