Description

The consecutive Master's degree program in Business Administration (MSc BA) with specialization in Innovation Management is a consistent extension and deepening of the Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration.

The program is interdisciplinary and multimedia-based. It provides students with in-depth specialist knowledge and is oriented towards the requirements of the national and international labor market. They learn to develop and apply ideas in a scientific research context.

With the Master of Science (MSc) Business Administration with specialization in Innovation Management , you will acquire the crucial knowledge to establish and expand innovative, strategic potential for success.

This program is offered in cooperation with SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences of Italian-speaking Switzerland, located in Manno, Ticino) (Master's degree in Italian).

Requirements

Graduates who hold one of the following degrees are admitted to the consecutive Master's program:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (FH)
  • Diploma in Business Administration (FH) (according to the regulations before the Bologna reform).

Furthermore, holders of the following degrees can be admitted with conditions:

Bachelor's degree or four-year diploma in economics (according to regulations before the Bologna reform) or a related science (e.g. industrial engineering or business informatics).

It is possible to work up the requirements until before the beginning of the 3rd semester at the FFHS.

In addition, the following entry-level competencies must be demonstrated:

  • English language skills on at least CEF competence level B2 (certificate or bachelor/diploma degree).
  • German certificate level C1 (for foreign language candidates).

Classes are held in German. The technical literature is mainly English-language books and publications. International topics and projects are dealt with in English.

Seminar papers, research papers, research reports and the Master's thesis can be written either in German or English.

A personal admission interview will be held if required.
