Chemistry plays a very central role in the production of medicines, hygiene products, textiles, electronic products, in electromobility and many materials that have become indispensable in everyday life.

Theory and practice in organic, analytical, physical and industrial chemistry form the basis of the education at HTA-FR.

The chemistry program receives the EUR-ACE® certification.

UAS chemists are engineers who

• develop new characterization and analysis methods
• develop safe and economical synthesis methods on a laboratory scale; and
• develop efficient production processes;
• Manufacture and improve products;
• control and manage production facilities.
