Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Computer Science and Communication Systems, with indication of the major field of study

The information society and the digitalization process of human activities are impacting civilization and posing challenges.

The Computer Science and Communication Systems program offers a global approach that enables students to understand the impact of information technologies on businesses. The program is divided into three areas: software engineering, networks and systems, and data engineering.

Of the five majors, three are offered at HTA-FR:

• IT Security
• Embedded Systems

The Computer Science and Communication Systems program offers three competency profiles:

Software Engineering

Software development for large and complex IT systems; whether mobile or in the cloud.

Networks and Systems

Planning, design, deployment and monitoring of IT system infrastructures and virtualized or physical networks while ensuring security.

Data Engineering

Meeting the growing needs of companies and organizations for the acquisition, transfer, processing, storage and presentation of large to very large amounts of data.
