Virtual reality, nanotechnology, networked production systems, autonomous vehicles, sustainable mobility and energy-efficient buildings: all new topics that have been added to the classic fields of mechanical engineering in recent years.
At HTA-FR, theory and practice are combined to train multi-skilled engineers capable of developing mechanical products and systems in each of these fields and of carrying out interdisciplinary projects.
Three majors are offered at HTA-FR:
Utilization of renewable energies, energy optimization of buildings and industrial processes, aerodynamics and computational fluid dynamics.
Development of lightweight structures and plastic parts, design for manufacturing, numerical simulation and testing, optimization of production processes, quality and consideration of their entire life cycle (PLM).
Design, modeling and optimization of propulsion systems including electrification and hybridization, development and manufacturing of internal combustion engines and hydrostatic drives.
