Provider: University of Applied Sciences for Tourism Graubünden
Thanks to the cooperation between the University of Applied Sciences for Tourism (HFT) Graubünden and the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden, we can award a European-recognized degree with 15 ECTS credits with the CAS. The focus is on practical relevance. We will deal with and work on the technical and methodological competencies in all areas of event management in depth.
Participants can expect an exciting mix of well-founded theoretical principles, which will be interlinked with the practice of our various partner events.
Structure
The course consists of six modules of two to five days each. Modules 1 to 3 impart the necessary theoretical knowledge. In modules 4 to 6, these are put into practice. Case studies are used to develop strategic, organizational and marketing-specific aspects of event management.
Contents
Marketing, media work and sponsoring are dealt with as well as questions about event law. Budgeting, project management, leadership and organization are also addressed. The CAS teaches efficient working techniques and rules of communication so that difficult situations can be better managed. Dealing with oneself and with employees at different hierarchical levels is an important part of the course. The practical relevance is central. Thus, starting with the 3rd module, the modules take place at live events.
