The training enables you to act professionally as a primary teacher. In addition to teaching various subjects, this also includes school and lesson development as well as collaboration in subject teams. These goals are achieved through a practice-oriented education in which scientifically based knowledge is imparted and used and reflected upon in practical professional situations.
The Primary Education program qualifies students to teach students in grades 1-6 (school years 3-8) and is completed with a Bachelor of Arts PH Luzern in Primary Education.
The teaching diploma for the primary level is recognized by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK) and is valid throughout Switzerland.
