Achieving your own professional goals and balancing work and study are at the heart of the SIB concept "MaxFlex - maximum flexibility for your learning success at SIB". "MaxFlex" offers students more flexibility regarding the form of instruction and the pursuit of individual learning goals.
Live stream participation in class
If, for private or professional reasons, it is occasionally not possible for you to attend individual lessons on site, you can follow the lessons via live stream (camera transmission).
Thanks to this additional service you will not miss the lessons. For a high didactic quality, the focus of the lecturers is on the class in the room, participation via live stream is considered passive participation.
The continuing education in school management is divided into two parts:
- Certificate course with certificate in "School Management Specialist SIB/VPZS".
- Diploma course with certificate in "School management and development".
This structure takes into account the individual needs of the participants. Depending on the desired function or previous education, only the certificate or diploma course can be completed. Or an interruption can be made between the two courses.
To obtain the diploma "School Administration Manager SIB/VPZS", both the certificate and the diploma course must be successfully completed.
High priority in education and administration
The elementary school needs constant development in order to meet the changing demands of society. At the same time, it needs consistency, reliability and continuity. School administrators ensure that knowledge and experience are not lost in the school community. The skills required for this are taught in the continuing education program in school management.
The cooperation with the Association of Personnel of Zurich School Administrations (VPZS) ensures that the course content is aligned with the requirements and needs of the school administrations.
Job description of a qualified school administration manager (SIB/VPZS)
You will organize a school administration as a service and competence center for the management of school operations in municipalities from an entrepreneurial, professional and personnel point of view. You work on behalf of the school authorities and, together with the school administrators (pedagogical-organizational area), form the management of a school community.
They are responsible for an administratively and organizationally professionally managed school operation and ensure continuity. They are the contact persons for the school presidium, the school administration, the school management, the teachers, the house services, the students, the parents, the media and the public.
