The subject of history at the University of Konstanz is one of the most renowned historical institutes in Germany. Here you will learn about the entire range of epochs from antiquity through the Middle Ages to contemporary history. The content focuses on the areas of global, economic, Eastern European, scientific and media history.
Through cross-epoch research contexts that address a specific topic (e.g. religion or trade) or region (e.g. Ancient Orient or Eastern Europe), you will develop a holistic view of history. In small groups, you will learn intensively how to deal with the research literature and historical sources.
Requirements
Prerequisite for admission to studies is the general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or a recognized equivalent university entrance qualification.
