The increasing importance of the marketing sales area calls for special training to become sales specialists. Sales specialists are valuable employees, both in staff and line functions. They coordinate the internal and external sales force in accordance with the marketing specifications. In particular, they can perform control and coordination tasks for the sales manager and are able to develop sales planning concepts based on predefined goals, self-determined information and control data.
Advanced training:
The goal of preparing for the federal examinations for sales specialists is in the foreground. Admission to this examination is governed by the examination regulations of the examining body of the Swiss Association for Sales Specialists and admission must be fulfilled at the latest when registering for the federal examination of the examination year).
Admission to the federal examination (excerpt from the regulations)
According to Art. 3.3, the following persons are admitted to the federal examinations
a) provides proof of a federal certificate of proficiency with at least three years of basic vocational training
or a diploma from a state-recognized commercial high school, a diploma from a state-recognized diploma high school of at least three years' duration, or a Matura certificate (all profiles)
and
b) has at least two years of relevant professional experience.
Admission is also granted to those who
a) provides proof of a federal vocational certificate (EBA) in a profession with at least two years of basic vocational training
and
c) has at least three years of relevant professional experience.
d) The timely transfer of the examination fee in accordance with section 3.4.1 remains reserved.
