Health is a central issue in our society. What keeps people healthy despite private and professional stresses? How can health-promoting behaviors and resources be brought about or strengthened?
These questions are the focus of the MAS Health Promotion. This continuing education program will provide you with in-depth knowledge in the field of health promotion with a focus on the salutogenesis model of A. Antonovsky, a pioneer of health promotion. You will also acquire important key qualifications or soft skills, for example in the areas of project and quality management, communication skills, teamwork and conflict management or leadership skills.
The occupational fields of health promotion are part of a growth industry. The demand for skilled experts is constantly increasing, as the cost of illness in our society is also constantly rising and health-related services are very personnel-intensive. In this part-time and practice-oriented MAS, you will be optimally prepared for current and future complex tasks in the field of health promotion.
In the MAS in Health Promotion, you will gain comprehensive qualifications for various tasks and fields of action in health promotion. You will learn to apply health-promoting strategies, processes and basic psychological understanding in such a way that you can change pathogenic living conditions and personal behaviors of people and groups through different communication and counseling concepts.
