Gardeners with a federal certificate are manual managers in the executive area of a plant production and/or horticultural company. They are responsible for the preparation and organization, the execution (technical management and supervision of the team) and the evaluation of the work in the company according to the instructions of the supervisor. They actively participate in the execution of the work and are responsible for ensuring that the quality and safety requirements are met.
The learning contents to be acquired are described in the action competences of the respective specialization. At the end of a completed module, students have acquired a defined professional competence, which is concluded with a module examination. The federal professional examination is conducted by the JardinSuisse association.
